Is there a way to change the sorting order contacts of a
personal address book, so when you want to click "To:" you
can view say by last name.

Viewing contacts is currently sorted by last name, but
doesnt display in the same manner in the address book.

Appreciate help!

Here is a link to an article that explains that in the Personal Address
Book you cannot sort by Last Name field,
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;198059. If you are
talking about the contacts in the Contacts folder and wanting to sort them
in the address book then you would need to modify the settings of the
Outlook Address Book using the following steps:
To configure the Outlook Address Book to sort based on the Contacts File As
field.
1. On the Tools menu, click Services.
2. Click "Outlook Address Book", then click Properties.
3. Click "File As (Smith, John)." Click Close, and then click OK to close
the Services.
4. On the File menu, click "Exit and Log Off".
5. Restart Outlook.
6. On the Tools menu, click Address Book; then click to select Contacts in
the Show Names list.

I hope this information is helpful.
