Changing Resolution

My monitor went out recently so im forced to go back to my
old monitor. When my monitor went out my resolution was in
1024, well the monitor im useing now cant go that high so
my screen is messed up and i cant see anything to change
it back, can anyone help me out with this?

Start your computer in Safe mode.

When i start my computer i cant even go into setup, i hit
deleate but it never pops up, and im not totally sure how
to start in safe mode.

Boot in safe mode and you can change it there. I am not sure for a Win9x

In Win2000/XP it is F8

If running windows 98, it is also F8. Keep pressing in the button as you machine is booting up.
