Changing publishing options

I have published by calendar on my home computer using outlook 2007
successfully (I see it and all new appointments on my work computer).
However, when I try to change the publishing options, I get an error, "the
upload of Calendar failed....sever returned an error". When I try to send an
email invitation to my son, I also get the following error, "Error while
preparing to send sharing message. Server returned an error". My son is
registered on office online, and I can publish his calendar, so I know that
is not the problem...help.

there are issues with the calendar server as they do some upgrades - they
usually resolve themselves after a couple of days.
