Changing Print Style in Outlook 2003

I want my emails to display and print showing "Page 1 of 3", "Page 2 of 3", etc. When I go to the Header/Footer tab in Page Setup, the "Total pages" icon is unavailable. This is in Memo Style. How can I get the total number of pages to show?

AFAIK, that option is available only for HTML format messages, which use the
Internet Explorer print header/footer.
