Hi Experts,

Does anyone know if is possible to grant members of the local users group on
a Windows XP computer access to change/modify the power schema ? I would
like to grant them access to prevent hybernation etc. based on their needs ?

Thanks in advance,
Michael

Hi Michael
Yes you can. Give them permission to modify the following registry keys
and subkeys

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ControlsFolder\
PowerCfg
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg

Hope that helps.
