I have a document that was sent to me that used 8 1/2 by 14 paper size. I
need it to be on 8 1/2x 11 and still fit on one sheet. When I change the
paper size it is losing some of the information. I have Word 07. Any
suggestions?

Thanks in advance for the help

you have (at least) two options:

1. you set the paper size to 8.5x11, shrink the margins a bit, reduce
font size, etc. Depending on how the document is setup and its contents,
that will work.

2. If you want to preserve the "look and feel" of the document, you need
to scale it down. Your printer driver might have such an option.
Shrinking it down to 78% will fit 8.5x14 on 8.5x11 nicely, though
depending on page margins you might get away with less reduction in size.

Wrt #2, you don't have to depend on the printer driver: Word's Print dialog
has a "Scale to paper size" option that allow you to print on any paper size
supported by your printer.
