changing ownership

Hello, all,

I have a split, secured database for which I have created a new user with
full administrative permissions. I would like to change ownership of the
database and all its objects to this new user. I am able to do so with the
objects, but when I select the database itself, the 'change owner' button is
disabled. Do I need to be logged on exclusively?

You will need to log on as your new user, create a new, blank database, and
then import all objects from the old database into the new one.
