Changing Local admin password on multiple computers

Is there a group policy that allows you to change the
local admin password on all the computers in the domain.
I have found one to change the admin account name but not
the password. If their is one, where is it located or
what do you have to do to get it (resource kits)?

If you want to change them to the same password for a group of computers then create
a startup script using the "net administrator password" command. Change the ntfs
permissions on that script so that users/everyone do not have any permissions but
make sure that domain computers group does. Of course the change will not be
implemented until the computers are started up, so you may have a problem if some
computers do not get shut off for a long period of time. Another possibility uses the
cusrmgr command to run a batch file with separate passwords for each computer as
described in the KB below. --- Steve
