I "ghosted" a hard drive to save time installing software,
but now I need to change the license code on the machine
the hard drive is in now. Does anyone know how to change
the license code of a Windows 2000 Professional system?

Is this a corp. environment or personal ?

You can go into the registry and search on the product ID and the digital
product ID. I have NOT tried this with Win2K or XP so I am not 100% sure it
will work with the online registration. I would recomend getting a Corp Open
License version of Win2K. That way you use the same ID on all machines.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

If its corp. Then don't worry. I have all my platforms Ghosted such that all Ghosted
platforms use the same key.
