Changing Drive Letters

My system has three HDDs. Two are configured in a RAID 1 array using a
Promise TX2000 controller.

The single drive has 4 partitions now named; C, D, E and J.

The RAID array is a single partition, I (as in India).

Will the RAID controller have a problem if I rename the RAID combo to some
other letter. I guess I'm just being little anal retentive wanting to get
these things a different order.

Thanks.....

Which version of Windows? For NT/2K/XP, it's easy to change. The only
issue might be any programs that are pointing to it. The only other
problem would be if Windows was installed to it. Changing that letter can
cause too many problems.

| As far as Windows is concerned, it's just one big drive. It probably
| doesn't even realize it's a RAID, as the controller is doing most, if not
| all, of the work.

I went and switched the drive letters around to my liking and all is well.
Just had to change a couple of shortcuts to reflect the changes.

Thanks for your input.
