Changing .Doc into .pdf

B

Bart Schelkens

Hi,

does anyone know of a way to change a word-document into a pdf-file while
uploading the file to the website?

We've created these word-documents and we changed them into pdf-files before
we uploaded them to the website.

Now my boss has told the client that it was possible to upload a
word-document and that the website would make a pdf-file of that document.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks in advance.

Buy a PDF component that can do this for you. There's no built-in
function in the .NET Framework.

..NET framework doesn't have any such feature. There may be some 3rd party
components that support this conversion programmatically.

I guess your boss would have the answer to that then! ; )

Personally, I like the activepdf products ...

Hi,

You can also use ActivePDF. This is a good component to convert HTML/DOC into PDF on web server.
