Changing Display Fonts?

Can anyone tell me if it's at all possible to change the
fonts on the desktop screen on WindowsXP? I can change the
windows fonts, but I would also like to change the desktop
fonts. Thanks

control panel (or right-click desktop -> properties)
display
appearance tab
advanced button
item box = icon
make desired changes

be sure to go to theme tab and save theme to a file.
