Changing desktop icon shortcuts in Win XP

Can I change my desktop shortcut icons
to something other than what shell32.dll
offers.

Right click the icon, select properties, second tab over, select change
icon, near the top select browse, point to additional icons. You can find
and download free icons from all over the 'net if you'd like.
