Changing Color

Sir,
Pls tell me how we change the colour of cell and column heading.
in excel 2000 Sheet

The cell is easy, just select from Fill Colour icon in the formatting
toolbar.

Column heading, I don 't think you can.

Another way to change the cell is to select the cell you want to change and then go to Format>Cells>Pattern on the pull down menu.

The headings take the color that is assigned to "3-D Objects" in your Windows color scheme. If you change this you will also change the backgopund color on your pulldown menu, as well as a whole host of other items which you probably don't want to change.
