Changing color of website address in the text using report

I typed a letter in the text box in report design and I have a website
address that should be blue and when I try to change to blue I would
highlight and go to my color fonts/fore color and it is greyed will not allow
me to change only certain
"word" in sentence. I tried to copy and paste to word and change the website
address to blue there and then copy and paste back to access in text and it
changed back to black. Any suggestions?

Open the report in design view
Right click the textbox - open porperties
Set the Fore Color to 16711680
You should see the change in your text box right away

AlsoYou should not type text into a textbox (bad nameing by microsoft) you
insert text text into lables.

Okay, I tried doing that before and it didn't work it changes the whole text
blue I only want www.abcdefg.com blue. I have the text in text box because we
have order #'s that have to be placed in the body of the letter and it shows
up on the letter using text but when I changed to Lables it doesnt show up on
the preview.

Hi Barbara

Sorry I must have misunderstood. I am not aware of any method that you can
use in access to color only a certain amount of text with a text box (or
label for that matter). As an example you could not as far as I KNOW COLOR
ONLY THE capitals in this sentence if it were all in one box.

The only way I think of off the top of my head would be to place two boxes
next to each other and use the formatting that I gave you on the box
containing the hyperlink and leave the other as a default black. This would
give the “appearance†that you are looking for,

If there is a method to alter the color of a certain section of a text
string within a box then someone will answer this post. Sorry I can't be any
more help as if it can be done I have never heard of it.
