Hi,

I know this is probably an easy fix but it is driving me crazy. Ho
would you enter an email address into a cell such a
"(e-mail address removed)" without excel automatically linking it to you
default mail provider? For macro purposes I need the cell to be
value, not a hyperlink otherwise I get a "mismatch" error. An
suggestions are appreciated.

Best Regards,
Mjac

Hi
goto 'Tools - Autocorrection'. Select the second tab and disbale this
option (depends on your Excel version)

In excel 2002, you enter an e-mail address and it creates a hyperlin
for you. When you mouse over the link you will see a small blu
rectangle below the cell. Mouse over this and you will see th
autocorrect options. One of the options is to disable addin
hyperlinks.

You should also be able to select Autocorrect Options from the Tool
menu. My version seems to have a bug, since when I select Autocorrec
Options, it brings up the search window!
