changing cell colors with formula

i wanted to know if there was a formula i could apply to cells to change
their color automatically if a cell value drops below a certian number?
can someone please help
 
Yes. There is a feature to do exactly what you want. Pull-down Format >
Conditional Formatting... and enter the conditions.
