Changing bitmap to JPEG

I Have a PSP now and im trying to transfer photos to it, but it will only
transfer JPEGs but some of mine are Bitmaps. Is there any way to change them
so i can put them on my PSP

Open the .bmp files in a Digital Image
Editor...and go to...File / Save As / JPEG.

If you do not have image editing software
you can use MS Paint...(Start / Programs /
Accessories / Paint)...or you could download
the freeware IrfanView at the following link:
