changing back os

I want to redo my computer .I have windows professional installed on it. I
would like to go back to windows xp home. Is that possible

Not unless you upgraded from XP Home to XP Pro. How was XP Pro installed?
 
im not sure. some yahoo upgraded to pro for her, I think it was pirated. The
ntoskrnl wont work and she dont have a disk. She has the original home
edition disk. But how that guy got pro on i have no idea

Best way is to 'Clean' install XP Home, but backup any data files that might
used at a later date beforehand. The following article by Michael Stevens
will show how to perform a 'Clean' install of XP - dependent on the type of
XP CD that is going to be used:
