im not sure. some yahoo upgraded to pro for her, I think it was pirated. The
ntoskrnl wont work and she dont have a disk. She has the original home
edition disk. But how that guy got pro on i have no idea

Best way is to 'Clean' install XP Home, but backup any data files that might
used at a later date beforehand. The following article by Michael Stevens
will show how to perform a 'Clean' install of XP - dependent on the type of
XP CD that is going to be used:
