changing back form XP to 98se

I have not been able ot overcome a problem with an XP
installation and would like to get back to my previous
installation of 98SE. Can I do that without reformatting
the HD?

If you upgraded from 98 to XP and used the option to retain 98 you can. Go
to Control Panel, Add/Remove programs and see if you have an uninstall for
XP.

Only if:
You installed as an Upgrade, running the CD from the 98
and
Took the offer to Save old system files
and
Have not converted to NTFS

If so, there will be an Uninstall Windows in Add/remove Programs

Otherwise it is a matter of a reformat
