Changing Antispyware schedule

I have a new machine and loaded MS AntiSpyware on it. The default run
schedule was 0600 which I changed to 1800. When I clicked on the Change
Scedule button I got a message saying the schedule was changed but it
immediately reverted to 0600. I have this product installed on two other
machines on my network with no problems. Nothing I have tried so far has made
any difference. I'm running MS XP Pro on all machines. The only difference
is the new machine is a 64 bit dual core processor but I can't see why that
should matter. The only other thought I've had is that it's a security issue
and some permissions are not set correctly. I've checked everything I can
find to no avail. Help anyone...

You're thinking well, but remember that this is a beta--logic doesn't
necessarily help.

In this case, the bug affects anyone with a 24 hour time format.

To set your desired scheduled scan time:
1) change your language setting to English (United States) (which has a
12-hour format as the default)
2) set the scan time
3) reset the language setting to your usual one.

The scan will remain scheduled for the afternoon time you selected.

When we get to beta2 you can apply logic, but for now....(actually, there's
clearly a logic to these issues, but it is one only a VB programmer
intimately familiar with how dates and time are handled could spot, I
suspect.)
