changing a drive letter

I have a 3 1/2 inch floppy drive on my computer ( I have a lot of data on
floppies) and after I upgraded to Vista from XP, the A drive changed to the B
drive. I cannot change it back as it does not show inthe disk managment
dialog box. What do I do?
Thanks

I rthink you can change this in the bios

swap floppy drives or words to that effect!

Misha:
1.- Delete your floppy from device manager.
2.- Turn off your PC and unplug it from the wall outlet.
3.- Open your PC case and disconnect both data and power cables from your
floppy.
4.- Plug your PC to the wall outlet and turn it on.
5.- Let Vista start normally so that it "sees" that there is no floppy.
6.- Turn off your PC and unplug it from the wall outlet.
7.- Reconnect your floppy cables.
8.- Plug your PC to the wall outlet, close the PC case, and turn it on.
9.- Vista should now see your floppy again as "A:"

If you do not feel comfortable with hardware manipulation, get help from a
friend.
Do this at your own risk.

A drive's letter is stored in the registry in \HKLM\SYSTEM\MountedDevices
but I would not want to spoil your system suggesting a direct editing of the
drive letter right there.
