changing a domain name on a DC

Is there a Microsoft tool that can change the domain name on a windows 2000
domain controller? The only thing I can find about it is to remove AD and
reinstall it. Is there a way I could migrate the users and computer over to
a new domain instead?

Thanks for your help

In order to migrate your users over you might want to
consider setting up the new domain and migrate the users
over then join the old DC to the new domain.

It is possible under some circumstances (if oyu are still in mixed mode).
This is described in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;292541.
But it is sometimes better to setup a new domain and use ADMT tool to
transfer objects to the new domain. ADMT can be downloaded from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=788975b1-5849-4707-9817-8c9773c25c6c&DisplayLang=en

Thanks for your help.. Do you know a way I could just change the NetBIOS
domain name? If not I have to go with the admt tool because the domain is in
native mode.
