changes in text result in different color font

Is it possible to make changes in a spreadsheet to various cells and
have the results return a different font color. For instance, we have
a vendor that is changing some information in one of our spreadsheets (
with our permission) but we would like to see what changes they made by
returning those cells in red instead of black. Thanks in advance for

But if the vendor sees the color change, won't they notice and change the color
back?

I think I'd try to do a comparison to the original worksheet after it's
returned.
