Change your system back

Hello,
Well, I have a mess here because I decided to put XP on
my lap top. Now, I have no modem, and no audio system.
THey are not compatiable with windows xp. How can I
delete xp from the system and reinstall windows 98?

Oh, and I need baby steps to complete this is possible.
I need step-by-step directions. Don't leave anything
out. Because unfortuantely I am not a computer person.

When you installed Windows XP, did you put the cd in while you were in
Windows 98 and choose to upgrade?
