change verb to noun

I am using a word (etch) that the grammar check considers to be a verb.
However, it is also often used as a noun in my industry. How can I change
the designation of the word so that it is considered both a noun and verb?
The grammar check always gives an error saying that the subject and verb
don't match. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm sorry, but there's nothing you can do other than to ignore the
error message. The grammar checker rules, unlike the spelling checker,
can't be customized at all.

Jay,

Thanks for your quick reply. I guess that I'll just ignore the error. At
least I won't spend time looking for a way to modify it any more. Thanks for
your help.

If it really bothers you, you can format the single word as "Do not check
spelling or grammar."
