Change the music played a new song

I have an exsisting presentation with a song that is played throughout the
presentation that I would like to change to a new song. Any suggestions?

Need a little more information like what type of music file are we talking
about? Is it embedded (a WAV file) is it a MP3 file Is it a selection from a
CD

You will probably find that the only viable option is to delete the existing
music by finding the sound icon, select > delete and inserting new music with
insert movies / sounds. You will have to go into custom animation > effect
options and "stop playing after x slides"
