I'm using music software where the highlighted color and
the regular color are so close I can't see it easily at
all (dark blue normal, ever-so-slightly less dark blue
when highlighted!!). I went to the music software forum
and they said to change the text highlight options of the
Windows OS.
I can't find where to do that. Can anyone help me with
this?

If I've posted to the wrong forum, please let me know and
I'll post it to the correct one.

Thanks for any help!

Right click the desktop and select Properties to bring up the Display
control applet. On the Appearance page, click the Advanced button. Click
the button for the Item drop down list and select "Selected Items."

The "Color:" box to the right of "Item:" will become active. Click the
arrow on the edge of that box to open the palette and select a different
color. If you don't see a color that you like, click the Other button at
the bottom of the palette flyout for more choices.
