change recycle bin icon Empty/full - how?

How do I change/show a different recycle bin icon between full & empty
please?

Hi Peter, that got me sorted
In my version of vista it's Right Click on Desktop> Personalise, then
in the left-hand-pane click on 'change desktop icons'
