Change Query on datasheet

I have a subform bound to a qry which can change by the user however, when I
change the query via a form button I lose the first column of data?

Does anyone know why?
 
How do you change the query via a form button?

Do you lose the first column or just not display the data in the column?

Post the SQL of the query.
