CHANGE only share on a folder

If a folder has a CHANGE only permission on the share,
will users over a network with NTFS permissions of READ
and WRITE be able to access this folder.

Does giving a folder CHANGE only on the share stop a user
doing anyting to the folder e.g. unable to read or write.

My experience is no - they also need read permissions. However if you do not want a
user to access a share, then either make sure they are not in a group that has any
access or give them "deny" permissions to the share realizing administrators are also
part of the everyone and users group, though they can give themselves
permissions. --- Steve
