how do I change font color, in desktop

I tried all the possibilities

appearance+advanced and so further
the color is white
and I wants to change to black
the operating system is XP pro

There doesn't appear to be an easy way to do this within Windows, but a
Google search will turn up several utility programs that do, as well as give
you lots of other customization feature. Use at your own risk.

Not possible. It can be black or white depending on the underlying desktop
colour - if the underlying colour is dark, it will be white and vice versa -
no further customisation is possible.
