Hi All,
My IE doesn´t have option, in the advanced tab, to change FTP conection to
active mode.
NT 4.0 WKS SP 6a and IE 6.0 SP1 (both portuguese and just updated by
windows update)
I didn´t find information in Kbase.
Any Idea ?

olá dan,
In IE 6, there should be a checkbox in:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab

Scroll down to the Browsing section, then, near the bottom
of that section, there should be a checkbox for Use
Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility).

IE uses active mode by default, at least that's the idea
anyway. So, if this box is checked, it's in passive mode,
and if it's not (the default) FTP is in active mode.

Olá Carnix
I know the option, but it doesn´t appear. This is the problem.
When I try to conect, and see my firewall´s log, the client is trying to
conect in various ports above 1023. Considering that I don´t change
manually to passive mode, I think the default mode is passive.
