Change form style in Access

I am trying to either put my own form style or download new form styles
(background). Is this possible or can I only use the styles provided?

You can create your own. This is discussed pretty often in the newsgroups.

Create a form with all the various types of objects formatted the way you
want.
Select FORMAT/Autoformat...
Click CUSTOMIZE
Select the "Create a new AutoFormat based on the Form..."

I just tend to use plain forms without backgrounds. Do not that backgrounds
can inflate the size of the database by a very large amount also.

Take a look at these screen shots, as they use the standard window colors.
