Change File Extension

Hi,

I have made the move from Win 2000 to XP. I regulary change certain files
extension and I cannot do it on XP. For instance changing a data.txt file
to data.vff and all I needed to do is rename the file. How can I do this in
XP?

The same way. You may be confused cause you have the setting turned on to
not show extensions. Try in explorer: tools, folder options, view tab,
uncheck: hide extensions for known file types.
Then right click your file and choose rename.
