change default margins

How do I change the default margins in all future excel
workbooks? I have Office 2000.

Setup a blank workbook the way you want, and save it as a
template named Book.xlt in your XLStart folder, typically
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\XLStart . All new
workbooks will be created based on this template.
