is it possible to change default folder for 'insert/picture/fromfile'

If you want to change this JUST for PowerPoint do the following:
Tools>Options>File Location>
Highlight the Clip Art (or any other item) and then click MODIFY
Navigate to the folder where you want PowerPoint to go each time you want to add a picture, highlight the folder name (not file)
Click Save>Click OK

i opted for the simple solution - putting a shortcut in My Pictures folder
to redirect it - if i'd spent as much time thinking about it instead of
bitchin about it, i might've even thought of it myself
