Would someone please tell me how to change the date format displaying in my
Word documents? My dates are showing e.g. February 10, 2006 as 10/02/2006.
I'd like it to display as 02/10/2006.
thanks,
Ted

Have you tried changing the Short Date format in Windows Control Panel |
Regional Options? This makes that date format available to be selected as
the default in Insert | Date and Time.

The control panel shows date format as 02/10/2006. However word shows the
date as 10/02/2006. I reopenned Word to no avail and tried to change to
another short date format.

Have you selected MM/dd/yyyy as your default date in Insert | Date and Time?
