Good question BH 79 , I also would really like to know this and can't
find anything about it . But I have seen docs in which the
columns have names instead of the usual a,b,c-labels... Hope someone
knows the answer...
You cannot change the column letters themselves (except to numbers in the
R1C1 style of cell references). What you can do is to use row 1 for your own
headings, with your data starting in row 2.
No. You can type in a row of names in Row 1 and hide the Row and
Column headers using Tools > Options > View. Not generally recommended
as it confuses with formulas but there are situations where you might
use the approach.
