Hello....

I need to change the image of the blinking cursor. Instead of a blinking
vertical line I need a blinking solid square.

Any suggestions?

Thx,
D.

Go to Control Panel > Accessibility Options > Display (tab).
Under "Cursor Options", move the "Width" slider all the way
to the right (Wide) and click APPLY.

Thank you, but the cursor is not widened in most applications. The change
seems to only apply to OS prompts and a small number of utilities. The cursor
is not widened in MS Word, and not in the database I'm writing where I need it.

Am I missing something?

Thx,
D.

Control Panel - Mouse - Pointers, highlight Text Select, and Browse to
something suitable. You may have to look around the web for a suitable
..cur file for a solid square

Sorry, but that's for the mouse "pointer". I need to change the blinking
vertical line that shows where the next character from the keyboard will be
placed.

Any other suggestions?

Thx,
D.
