change back end database

Michael

Using Access 2000, after using the database splitter.
Does anyone know how to change the name and location of
the back end database file so the forms, queries, reports
and so forth on the front end will know where to find the
tables in the back end. I looked in the help and couldn't
find anything.
Thanks for any help.

Linked Table Manager. You can use it to refresh existing links or by using
the CheckBox in the lower left you can also use it to specify a new
location for some or all of the tables.

In Access 97 you had to open the database, go
to "tools", "add-ins" then linked table manager. Check
the box at the bottom of the form that asks if you want to
specify file location and check all the boxes for the
files (tables, forms, reprots, etc) that you want to
move. Then hit ok and it will ask you to point to the
direction of the back end. It will then relink the tables
to the new location.

I'm sure it is very simialr in 2000.

Good luck,

Rob
