Centon 512MB PC2700 Memory Module on an Asus board

Possibly for an A7N8X-VM board or one of the A7N8X-???? boards.

Found some Centon 512MB PC2700 Memory Module Brand/Model: MEI 512MBPC2700
regularly $99.99 now on sale at Circuit City, ($49.99 after rebates). I am
not fond of Limit One rebate though, but I might get creative! lol
Is this a good module to use?

It's fine if you don't mind using cheap RAM that will tend to give timing
errors when used in pairs.

Just make sure you can return it if it doesn't work, the a7n8x motherboard
is picky about memory, esspecially in dual channel mode.

You can also check ram with http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp.

OK I will let the cheap memory pass and buy Kingston or Corsair. <g>
