Centering page for varying resol.

Use a main table set to 750 pixels, then under table properties, select
Center.

I intitially built my page(badratracing.com) to fit 1024 but after
having a few people say it didnt fit on their screens (and getting
railed on here) I'm thinking about setting it up so it fits on 800x600.
The best option I can think of is centering it...

How do I go about setting that up? I'm assuming I build it to fit a
800x600 screen and then set the left coordinate to what ever will allow
it to be placed in the center???
Am I even close??

Thanks

One other note: if you have an image or images on the
same line that = more than 750 pixels, your table will
expand accordingly.

OK I have the header figured out, but what about other images that aren
centered, how do I orientate them so that stay lined up with the heade
in each res???

Thank

For some reason when I place a pic inside of the table its not
constrained by the table when I view it in my browser.
By "Main Table" you mean one table that will contain all the
text/images ect, correct? Does it need to remain on the same Zindex as
the main table??

The "main" table is a single celled table which just
happens to have the ability (ie, property) of being able
to be centered per your original request.

If you put stuff inside a cell of any table that is
larger than the amount you allocate to that cell, the
table will assume that your content's size should take
precedent over the table setting and therefore expand.

With that said, you must size your pictures files (using
a graphics program outside of Front Page) so that they do
not expand. There is no magic setting to make your
pictures resize on-the-fly.

I have my everything sized correctly... The images are not stayin
inside the table though. I can get the header to stay, but when I pu
my button images up(Z index1) they dont stay in the same position o
the header image..

Can you be spcific about what isn't right? If I go to your page, what exactly isn't wher eyou want it to be? Basically what you should do is Open up a blank page, Insert a table (with 1 row and 1 column) CENTERED that is 750 - 800 pixels in size, then treat that table as your page. You can add more tables inside of it or whatever you'd like.
