cells with more than 255 characters

Hi,

How can I export a sheet containing cells with more than
255 characters to a TXT file?

Using "save as TXT file" truncates the content at 255 char.

I just tried saving a workbook as text with 300 characters in 9 columns by 10
rows and it didn't truncate.

I chose Text (tab delimited)(*.txt)

and all 27000 (plus tabs/crlf's) showed up.

I used xl2002.

But you may want to try using a macro to write the file:
