cells are frozen

All of a sudden when I open excel the cell i'm in is frozen - ithe page
scrolls by column or row not by cell. Panes are not frozen. if I type in
one cell then arrow to the net cell, the whole column or row moves instead of
moving to a new cell. I have to physically click into the new cell to get
into it. How do I get it to scroll normally. So that the enitre
spreadsheet can be seen an I can move over to teh next cell w/o the enitre
column moving???

It sounds as though you have the scroll lock on. There should be a key
on the top row of your keyboard called "scroll lock". Press this and
the spreadsheet should scroll by cell not row or column.
