Cell value input date

Is it possible to log the input date of when a value is changed in a cell or
cells?

And, the obvious question is, if so, how?
 
Hi

Thanks for the info, I really need the date a change is made to a cell
rather than the actual value, however if I can log the date the value may
also come in useful.
