cell referencing

In one sheet I am pulling data from 15 other workbooks (and various sheets in
each workbook). The company changed the address of where this in formation
was so is there a way to change the address on the destination sheet without
changing each individual cell.

ie:
all the workbooks were located in the same folder but had different names.
So the original folder address was: c:......mix designs\edickson\consensous
properties\superpave\"then the name of the workbook".

Now the address is c:.......mix designs\edickson\consensous properties\"then
the name of the workbook". So how can I delete the word superpave from the
address on the destination sheet with out changing each individual cell?

Any help would be very helpfull or I think I am in for a very long winter.....

Can you not just do a find and replace? Or are you looking for that takes out
one directory?

John,
I am looking to remove the one directory. I don't know how to do the find
and replace for a mass of cells.

First thing, make a copy of your workbook.

Then, Find & Replace (ctrl-H)
Find what: \superpave\
Replace with: \
Then click Replace All

Should be just fine.
