CELL PROTECTION

I need to protect some cells in a sheet so the equation won't be changed.
How do I just protect certain cells, and not the whole sheet. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

Select the whole sheet (click the select all button above 1 left of A or
press ctrl A), do format>cells>protection, uncheck locked, now select all
the cells that you want to protect and repeat but select locked for those
cells, when that is done do tool>protection>protect sheet
