G Gord Dibben Sep 18, 2008 #3 The green triangle does not just indicate a formula is in a cell. It indicates an error or anomaly in a cell. Go to Tools>Options>Error Checking and see the option for disabling all error checking or just some. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP
